Toters
CGS/PFS offers only toter service, we no longer service personal cans.
There are a number of advantages to using the toter, rather than
the standard 20 – 32 gallon garbage can:
- Because it is on sturdy 12" wheels, most anyone can roll
it (as opposed to lifting or dragging a heavy can).
- The lid is attached, providing protection and safety.
- We use the 96-gallon toter, which is equivalent to 3 garbage
cans, so you have one convenient receptacle for the whole week,
fewer trips to the curb and less chance of contents spilling.
- It is childproof and pet-proof. The walls are tall enough to
keep small children and pets from getting inside, and it is heavy
enough to keep from tipping over.
- We will deliver the toter to you. We also replace it free of charge if it
is damaged by our truck or personnel. This saves you the cost of maintaining your own personal cans.

Call us today at 457-1820 to arrange for the toter service. Once
you have received your toter, keep in mind the following guidelines:
- Place the toter curbside with the arrow pointing towards the
street.
- Allow at least 4 feet between you and your neighbor's toter.
- Do not place hot ashes, flammable materials, paint, oil or other
hazardous materials in the toter.
- If you have secured the lid with a temporary tie down, unhook it prior to setting it out.
Keep the lid closed, an open lid will generate extra charges.
- The Service Guidelines apply
whether you have a toter or standard garbage cans.
