Service Guidelines

1. All residential waste should be placed at the curb, roadway or alley within 5 feet of the edge of the traveled portion of the street.
2. Garbage and yard waste should be placed in either the toter or in standard 20 – 32 gallon bags with each bag weighing no more than 50 lbs.
3. Yard waste MUST be bagged before placed inside the toter.
4. Do not stack containers over water or gas meters, under low hanging limbs or utility wires, or beside mailboxes.
5. Garbage toter lids must be closed and also free of items with sharp or jagged edges. The homeowner is responsible for the care, cleaning and any damage done by them to the rental toter.
6. Household hazardous waste and certain bulky waste cannot be collected curbside. Please take these items directly to the landfill (transfer station):
   Medical waste
   Tires
   Furniture
   Appliances
   Rechargeable batteries
   Asbestos
   Dead animals
   Paint, paint thinner and solvents
   Toilet and drain cleaners
   Explosive materials
   Photographic chemicals
   Pool chemicals
   Oil or propane tanks and 55-gallon drums
   Antifreeze
   Fertilizers
   Acids
   Gunpowder
   Ammunition and fireworks

7. Yard waste – Must be placed in the toter, or sized to fit in the toter as this is the only method of removal due to the automated system.
8. Electronic Waste: Residents are encouraged to recycle their electronic wastes, rather than placing them curbside. Call your local retailer for more information.

9. There is no formally scheduled day for BULK pick up. Call us for a quote on a residential special haul.
